Ready to separate yourself from your competition? We help our AAthletes build the explosive power, speed, and endurance needed to perform when it matters most.

WINTER TRAINING PROGRAM

  • Every session is designed with one goal in mind: improving athletic performance. By analyzing each athlete’s strengths and areas for growth, we create off-court training that enhances power, speed, agility, and endurance. Every exercise is purposeful, ensuring that time spent in the gym directly translates to smarter, faster, and a more effective performance.

  • At Aspiring Athlete, we cultivate a high-performance, positive environment where athletes are inspired to push past limits and discover what they are truly capable of. Our programs combine strength, agility, and mental training to help athletes develop not just physical power, but the resilience, focus, and work ethic required to succeed at the next level.

  • Training is led by Coach Maleki Harris, and supported by Coach Cornwall. Coach Harris is a former Division 1 athlete and five-year CFL linebacker. His approach is unlike any other in the area — he pushes athletes every time they step through the door, ensuring they get stronger, faster, and more prepared for competition.

Led by Coach Harris

Coach Harris is a Division I University of South Alabama football alumnus and a former five-year CFL linebacker whose career was built on discipline, resilience, and an uncompromising work ethic.

Now based in British Columbia, Coach Harris has spent nearly four years working closely with athletes and has identified a consistent gap in physical preparation. Many athletes consider themselves “high-performance,” yet transition directly from unstructured summer activity—such as occasional beach volleyball—into demanding school seasons and multiple club commitments. Without a structured strength foundation, their bodies are suddenly expected to perform, recover, and stay healthy at an elite level they are not prepared for.

Alongside his private coaching work, Coach Harris has served as the Head Linebackers Coach for Team BC U18 Football and was most recently selected as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Langley Rams.

Motivated by the need to close this preparation gap, Coach Harris works with driven athletes of all sizes and skill levels, teaching them how to train like true competitors. Inside the gym, the focus is on proper mechanics, disciplined lifting, and intentional strength training that builds both physical power and mental resilience. His approach helps athletes maximize their strengths, address weaknesses, and turn consistent effort into measurable, long-term results.
