Girls - Junior Varsity Tailored Training Program
Our Junior Varsity Tailored Training Program is an invite-only program designed to support developing athletes through their high-performance journey. Selection is based on our online application or identification at recent programs and camps, with an emphasis on athletes who consistently demonstrate at least three of our core attributes: Work Ethic, Skill, Size, Discipline, and IQ.
📍 BC PREP — 15358 67 Ave Unit 107, Surrey, BC V3S 7C6
Program Dates: January 5 – March 12, 2025
Training Volume: 10 sessions per group (15 total hours, approx. $32/hour)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 7:30 AM
Mondays — Setters (Open to setters & liberos)
Setter sessions focus on technical precision, decision-making, and game control. Athletes will train hand position, footwork patterns, tempo, and location consistency, with an emphasis on jump setting, setting on the move, and system execution in transition.Tuesdays — Swingers (Open to all attackers)
Swinger sessions emphasize attacking efficiency, power, and range. Training focuses on approach mechanics, arm swing efficiency, shot selection, and attacking within systems. Athletes will work on developing the ability to score in and out of system while maintaining precision under pressure.Thursdays — Liberos / First Contact (Open to all players)
Liberos sessions are built around the first-contact. Training includes serve-receive mechanics, defensive techniques, reading attackers, serving and out of system setting. All athletes benefit from these sessions, as passing and defence are foundational skills at the next level.
As athletes move into the club season, sessions prioritize position-specific skill development, technical refinement, and repeatable habits. Each session combines focused positional work with competitive drills and wash games, allowing athletes to apply skills in realistic, high-tempo game scenarios.
Registration Includes:
15 hours of training led by national-level coaches
Small group environment — 1:8 coach-to-athlete ratio (max 2 courts, 16 athletes)
High-repetition, high-paced sessions with detailed technical and tactical instruction
Consistent, high-quality feedback from experienced and reliable coaching staff
Athletes must apply and receive acceptance into the Tailored Training Program prior to registration. No refunds will be issued for purchases made before acceptance.
