The middle school years are some of the most important years for long-term volleyball development. Our Grade 6–8 Prospect Camps are designed to help athletes build strong technical foundations, develop confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of the game in a positive, challenging, and supportive environment. At Aspiring Athlete, we believe athletes should develop all aspects of their game before specializing, creating well-rounded players with the skills, confidence, and volleyball IQ needed for long-term success.
Each session combines technical instruction, skill repetition, mini games, wash drills, and competitive gameplay, allowing athletes to apply what they are learning in realistic game situations. Athletes will learn from our experienced coaching staff, including coaches with university, professional, and national team experience, while benefiting from the individualized attention that comes with our small-group training environment.
Throughout our weekly Prospect Camps, we will focus on developing:
• Technical consistency and ball control
• Proper movement patterns and footwork
• Communication and competitiveness
• Volleyball IQ and game understanding
• Confidence performing all skills on the court
