Grade 9-12 Compete Camps
Our Compete Camps are designed for club volleyball athletes who want to train, compete, and elevate their game in a fast-paced, focused environment this summer!
Compete Camp Schedule
July 27–30 (Monday–Thursday)
Grade 9–12 Compete Camp: 9:15 AM – 11:45 AM
📍 Adams Road Elementary School
Unlike traditional camps that focus heavily on isolated drills, our Compete Camps are built around gameplay. Athletes will spend the majority of each session competing in game-like situations, wash-style drills, and structured gameplay designed to maximize meaningful repetitions, decision-making opportunities, and competitive learning.
While athletes will receive many of their reps within their primary position, we believe the best volleyball players understand the game from every position on the court. Great attackers understand what setters need. Great setters understand what passers see. Great defenders understand offensive tendencies. By developing a broader understanding of the game, athletes become more adaptable, confident, and effective competitors.
Throughout camp, athletes will be challenged to perform all volleyball skills while continuing to develop the position-specific strengths that make them successful. Our goal is not simply to create better hitters, setters, middles, or liberos—it is to develop smarter, more complete volleyball players who understand how every position contributes to team success.
Coaches will regularly pause gameplay to teach decision-making, strategy, and game awareness, helping athletes understand not only what to do, but why. Coaches may stop and restart rallies, recreate game situations, and address recurring mistakes to ensure athletes are learning from each rep—not simply accumulating reps. Through competitive play, guided feedback, and game-based learning, athletes will improve their volleyball IQ, communication, consistency, and ability to execute under pressure.
Athletes are evaluated on the first day to ensure they are a good fit for the training environment. If an athlete is not currently at the level required for the camp, we may recommend a different training opportunity better suited to their stage of development.
